In a time when we are bombarded with social media and centralised messages, quite often from people who know little about who we are let alone where we live, it is a welcome sight to see a candidate decide to leave the City.
Australian Democrats Senate Candidate, Tim Burrow, did just that last week and travelled from Adelaide, down the SE, back up through the Mallee, Mid North, then around to Eyre Peninsula. He spoke with numerous local media outlets, chatted with locals, stood on main streets waving corflutes, engaging with the Communities.
Tim is what the Democrats are all about. He understands that what happens in rural Australia is important. That the decisions impacting those regions need to be made by the people in those regions. And no two regions are the same; every region, every town and every farm is unique. The Australian Democrats understand that.
